Hello!

About me

Hi there! I’m Ava (she/they, 22), and I’m a programmer, game developer, and a beginner artist. This is more of a personal site, so I’m not going to go too much into detail about the boring stuff.

You’ll mostly see me talking about my gaming interests; if I really like something then I won’t stop posting about it!! Some of my favorite games are Super Monkey Ball, Celeste, and Paper Mario. I also enjoy modding and repairing consoles, especially handhelds.

Outside of gaming, I also enjoy mechanical keyboards, making coffee, editing videos, drawing, tinkering with electronics, and endlessly researching any of my interests late into the night.

I’m not particularly good at it, but I’m always down to chat! You can find me at any of the links above, or reach me directly on Discord @anvilsp. I’ll probably have that name in most places that I frequent.

Some things I’ve made

• Poopster - a randomizer that puts together two stage names from the super monkey ball series and similar games. has an api to be used with nightbot or other apps and generally has far more features than something like this should tbh. don’t worry about the name
  • I made bots for cohost and Bluesky that automatically post random results from this
• Diode: Redode - a game heavily inspired by mario vs. donkey kong, made for my college game dev club. wildly incomplete unfortunately
